Agro-Industrial Technology Education

The Agroindustry Technology Education Program at the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Education, Indonesia University of Education (UPI), was established in 2008. Since 2021, it has been accredited nationally (excellent) and internationally (AQAS). Graduates hold an S.Pd. (Bachelor of Education) degree and are prepared to become vocational secondary school teachers and experts in the field of agricultural product processing technology education. The Agroindustry Technology Education program offers two specializations: Agribusiness in Agricultural Product Processing and Crop Agribusiness. However, graduates may also pursue careers in the food industry, research institutions, or government agencies and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) involved in agroindustry development. The admission competitiveness ratio for this program in 2025 is 1:7

Vision

To become a pioneering and leading academic program in the field of agribusiness vocational education based on sustainable agroindustrial technology at the national and global levels by 2030.

Mission

  1. To provide high-quality and innovative vocational education to prepare future educators, trainers, practitioners, and entrepreneurs in the fields of agroindustry and agrotechnology education.
  2. To conduct applied research to support the advancement of science and practice in the fields of agroindustry and agrotechnology education.
  3. Conducting community service through the dissemination of research results in the fields of agroindustry and agrotechnology education.
  4. Establishing strategic partnerships with educational institutions, industry, and the community at both the national and international levels to enhance the quality of the university’s three pillars of mission in the fields of agroindustry and agrotechnology education
