Building Engineering Education

The Building Engineering Education Study Program was established on July 11 based on DIKTI Decree Number: 243/DIKTI/KEP./1996, which at that time was named the Department of Building Engineering Education. Since 2021, the accreditation of the PTB study program at FPTK UPI has had an Excellent status. The graduate profile of the PTB program includes: 1) Educators in vocational education in the field of building engineering and instructors/trainers at training institutions in the field of building engineering, 2) Junior researchers at institutions related to the field of building engineering, 3) Implementers, assistant planners, drafters, quantity surveyors, surveyors, quality control personnel, and entrepreneurs in the field of building engineering.

Vision

To become a Leading and Outstanding Study Program in the Field of Building Engineering Education at the ASEAN level by 2020 and at the ASIA level by 2025.

Mission

Providing technical education in building construction to produce graduates who have the skills to become professional educators and are globally competitive in both formal and non-formal educational institutions (courses, training, and industrial training programs).
Conducting scientific research and development and practice in strengthening the discipline of building engineering education.
Organizing community service programs to apply science and technology in the field of building engineering to improve the quality of life of the community.
Developing networks and partnerships with schools (vocational schools specializing in building engineering), associations, industry, and local and central government in improving the quality of education in the field of building engineering.
