Mechanical Engineering Education
The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program (PTM Study Program) at FPTK UPI was established in 1963 at the Faculty of Engineering Education (FKIT) by Presidential Decree No. 1 of 1963. The PTM Study Program has been accredited by LAMDIK with an “EXCELLENT” rating. The PTM Study Program is one of the study programs offered at FPTK UPI. Graduates of the PTM program are oriented toward becoming vocational educators, industry practitioners, and technopreneurs in the field of mechanical engineering. In addition to mastering the four pillars of teacher competencies, graduates of the PTM program also possess vocational competencies. Graduates of the PTM program can work in vocational education institutions such as vocational high schools (SMK) or training institutions, as well as in industry. The PTM program has a fairly rigorous admission selection process.
