Electrical Engineering
The Electrical Engineering Study Program is one of the study programs under the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). The Electrical Engineering Study Program was established based on the Decree (SK) of the UPI Rector Number 6765 / J33 / PP.03.02 / 2006 with the name of the Electrical Power Engineering Study Program. UPI Rector's Decree Number 3312 / UN40 / KL / 2011 dated May 23, 2011 changed the name of the Electrical Power Engineering Study Program to the Electrical Engineering Study Program. Since April 21, 2023, the Electrical Engineering Study Program has achieved UNGGUL accreditation based on the Decree of the LAM Engineering Study Program Number: 0122 / SK / LAM Teknik / AS / IV / 2023. This accreditation status is valid until April 20, 2028.
The Electrical Engineering Study Program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia produces competent, innovative, and responsible graduates capable of designing and managing cutting-edge electrical systems. It is supported by lecturers with Master's and Doctoral degrees from reputable universities, most of whom are professional members of IEEE, PII, FORTEI, and PAPTEKINDO. It also offers adequate learning facilities such as smart classrooms and fully equipped laboratories. Extensive collaborations with PT PLN, Telkom, LEN, and other state-owned enterprises (BUMN) for internship programs, as well as international collaborations with International EduNet Phoenix Contact, ICT Academy - Huawei, JAIST-Japan, and international professional associations such as the IEEE Education Society Indonesia Chapter and the IEEE Electron Devices Society Indonesia Chapter ensure the relevance of the curriculum and the readiness of alumni who are spread across state-owned enterprises, government agencies, and national and multinational private companies.
